This is our first time volunteering with Soldiers Angels for the Treats for Troops program. Mrs. Knight and Mrs. Kvamme are mentors for an Ambassador program at Westby Elementary School. This program was designed to give 4th grade students a chance to be leaders and Ambassadors for WES. We plan community driven events as well as events around the school. We found the Treats for Troops program and the Ambassadors thought it was a great idea to donate some of their Halloween Candy. In our inaugural year we were able to raise 91 pounds of candy! Because we surpassed our goal Mr. Peterson wore a costume at the Appleby Bash! Attached are pictures of the Ambassadors with the candy we collected, and photos and a video from the Bash.
