Hi all- Our Westby Elementary School Appleby Ambassadors set up a campaign to collect candy and teamed up with the Soldiers' Angels Treats for Troops program. We collect the candy and ship it to select areas in the US. Soldiers Angels is a national nonprofit organization that provides aid and comfort to men and women in the Armed Forces, their families and Veterans. This is our second year helping out with the program.
We are seeking any monetary donations to cover the cost of shipping this candy as shipping costs have gone up! Our candy this year is being shipped to a VA hospital in Knoxville Tennessee. This year we collected 102 pounds of candy and $24 in 3 collection days!!!
